PENANG: Hong Bee Motors, a heavyweight in the motorcycle and marine scene, gleefully unveiled the doors to its very first Yamaha Lifestyle Mall on November 25, 2023. The grand opening unfolded within a two-story architectural marvel, boasting a substantial 12,000 square feet of excitement.
Visitors could immerse themselves in the dedicated VIP music lounge and studios, equipped with state-of-the-art Yamaha musical instruments, audiovisual systems, soundbars, and headphones. The mall also housed a Yamaha music school, a café, and a one-of-a-kind elevated service center.
The event was graced by notable guests, including YB H’ng Mooi Lye, the Penang State EXCO for Local Government and Town & Country Planning, Prof. Dato’ Dr. Jim Khor, the Group Managing Director of Hong Leong Industries Berhad, Mr. Itaru Otani, Senior Executive Officer, Chief General Manager, Land Mobility Business Operations of Yamaha Motor Company, Ltd., Japan, Mr. Mitsuhiro Nakamura, Group Manager, Middle East and Asia Group, Central and South America Group, Marketing Division, Marketing Section Marine Business Operations of Yamaha Motor Company, Ltd., Japan, and Mr. Jin Katagiri, Managing Director of Yamaha Music (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd.
Mr. Justin Chuah, the Managing Director of Hong Bee Motors Group, shared his opening remarks. Following that, Mr. Tim Hoo, General Manager, 3S & Marketing of Hong Leong Yamaha Motor, took center stage.
Hong Bee Motors presented a RM5,000 donation cheque to Ms. Maznah Tayib, the Northern Malaysia President of Friend of Childhood Cancer Northern-M (FOCCAN). This significant contribution indicates Hong Bee Motors’ dedication to social responsibility and its ongoing support for meaningful causes within the community.

The Lifestyle Mall is set to open its doors to the public on the upcoming day, November 26, for its much-anticipated annual Customer Day. Attendees can look forward to an extravaganza featuring booths from Yamaha Marine, Shell, FOCCAN, a cool merchandise truck, exciting promotional games, and complimentary services.
