Sungai Nibong Highway Shut For Four Hours Monday Night

The Sungai Nibong Highway in front of Kristal Point will be fully closed from 11pm on Monday (20 April) to 3am the following day.

The Penang Public Works Department (JKR) said the closure is needed to allow Jambatan Kedua Sdn Bhd to dismantle and install a new Variable Message Signage (VMS) LED board.

The entire stretch of the Sungai Nibong Highway from the Bukit Jambul roundabout towards Queensbay will be affected by the works.

JKR has urged road users to exercise caution, reduce speed and observe safety signages placed along the affected area.

Motorists are advised to plan their journeys and use alternative routes during the closure period.
