Speeding car crashes into a tree

A car crashed into a tree early this morning around 3am at Jalan Seri Tanjung Pinang right in front of the entrance of Quayside.

The tree that sustained bark injuries

This particular spot has seen several accidents in the past as it is a bend after a straight stretch. The driver must have been going pretty fast.

The engine & wheel was detached from the car

The impact was so hard that it detached the engine & wheel from the car. Several other parts were also seen at the incident area.

The front of the car mostly damaged and driver’s door ripped out

Most of the front part of the car is destroyed and the driver’s door was ripped out possibly to aid the driver out of the vehicle.

The condition of the driver is unknown to us as we only got to the area early afternoon. We urge all drivers to be careful and follow all speed limits especially in the wee hours of the night.
