Popular Malaysian stand-up comedian, TikToker, and proud Chindian, Gajen Nad, will be hitting stages in Penang and Kuala Lumpur in August 2022 with his brand new stand-up comedy special – PROFESSIONAL MIXED BREED – produced my Laugh Labs Entertainment Sdn. Bhd.
During the COVID-19 lockdowns, Gajen became a familiar face at corporate events, entertaining countless audiences both on live and virtual platforms, while successfully reinventing himself as a content creator on social media and amassing millions of views. Now, with live events back on the menu, Gajen is finally able to do what his comedy fans are more familiar with – stand-up comedy.
Born in the island of great food, people and culture, Penang, and raised in a household of mixed parentage, Gajen draws his unique brand of comedy and impeccable comedic timing from constantly disappointing his folks. For instance, after graduating with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from an exteemed university and landing a highing-paying IT Consultant job for a leading global consultancy firm, Gajen decided to go into comedy full-time in 2018. Ever since then, Gajen never looked back, never disappointed on stage and never thought his parents would accept him back into the family.
Now, armed with the experience from more than a thousand of comedy shows, new material, new fashion sense and, of course, his parents’ rare approval, Gajen Nad is finally ready take on the bigger stages, starting with his own first-ever 1-hour special – PROFESSIONAL MIXED BREED.
