The newly launched Cafe Mangga is Cheong Fatt Tze Mansion’s latest F&B offering set under a giant mango tree at the entrance of the Blue Mansion.
The cafe, which was slated to launch at the end of 2020, has been delayed due to multiple lockdowns but as the lockdowns continue, the owners decided that there is no time like the present.
The cafe serves delicious brunch dishes such as Eggs Benedict with House-Cured Salmon, Avocado Toast with Runny Yolked Egg & Furikake and Lemon Butter Pancakes with Mango Compote & Gula Melaka. More substantial dishes include the Grilled Chicken Sandwich with Smoked Kicap Manis, House Nasi Lemak and Braised Beef Cheek.
Tea time lovers won’t be left out either – the cafe’s signature Box of Treats features a selection of 8 types of petite cakes such as the Lychee Rose Choux au Craquelin, Pandan & Red Bean Swiss Roll and Yuzu & Chocolate Truffles.

If you want a hearty item, this sandwich will set you right. Crunchy pickled cabbage goes well with mustard and sharp cheddar on focaccia. The pulled beef is tender and flavourful making this really satisfying!

Slices of creamy avocados under runny yolk eggs topped with cream cheese, furikake, seaweed, sweet corn and rocket leaves. This exquisite creation gives you an explosion of delightful flavours in your mouth!

Perfectly caramelised sugar top which is not too hard, not too thick on top of custard cream. They have given it a local spin of adding glutinous black rice at the bottom! Double heaven in a box 😋
