This Ramadan, Iconic Hotel Penang had prepared a truly lavish spread they titled Cita Rasa Warisan Buffet Dinner. Perfect for breaking fast with your family, you will be overwhelmed with the amount of variety on offer at Mezza9.
Starting off with appetizers, there are a whole row of salads, cold dishes, kerabu, keropoks, serundings and assortment of seafood on ice.
The main dishes on offer are traditionally done. Different types of curries with fish, chicken, eggs, crabs, prawns, lamb & beef. We had a fine time sampling the curries with just plain white rice.
Several action and food hilights would be their Char Koay Teow, Satay, Shawerma, Ramly Burger, ayam pasu, deep fried fish and of course the roasted goat. The goat was delightfully crispy on the skin side but deliciously tender on the inside.
When it comes to desserts, their team never fails to impress. A dizzying array of whatever you wish for sweets. From local durian treats to white chocolate fondue, local kuihs to lemon tarts, it was impossible for us to try each and every one on offer.
