Hennessy Launches Original Chinese New Year Single and Music Video in Malaysia

Hennessy has released an original Chinese New Year single and music video in Malaysia titled “Raise for Luck! (好運乾一杯!)” to celebrate the festive season.

The track and music video, which premiered on 10 January 2026, draws inspiration from Hennessy’s Chinese New Year 2026 tagline “Gallop Towards Bright Perspectives”. The production blends contemporary sounds with festive traditions, capturing the forward momentum and energy of the Year of the Horse.

The music video features a lineup of Malaysian talent, including YouTube personalities Chang Yong and Shu Sen, singer Jeryl Lee, DJ Blink, style influencer Jack Gohr, model and actor Zhen Ning, and dancer Victoria Ng.

Laura Drozdowski Lot, Marketing Director of Moët Hennessy Southeast Asia, said: “Chinese New Year is a time for family and friends to reconnect, and Hennessy is proud to be part of those celebrations. The storyline centres on friends and family reuniting on Chinese New Year’s Eve, celebrating the moments of togetherness through clinking glasses, laughter, and shared experiences.

Chang Yong described the track as “a song to dance to, cheers to, and reunite to,” whilst Shu Sen added: “No matter how much time has passed or how relationships have changed, once we raise a glass of Hennessy, we are together again.”

DJ Blink contributed his signature sound to the track, adding an energetic drop to amplify the celebratory spirit.

The music video is available on Chang Yong’s YouTube channel and all major streaming platforms.

Hennessy is also running a golden giveaway until 31 March 2026. Each purchase of a Hennessy Chinese New Year Limited Edition bottle enters buyers into a draw to win a 50g gold bar. Details are available at https://cny.hennessy.com/home.
