A ship caught fire at the shipyard of Harbour Trade earlier at about 4pm today. Smoke could be seen billowing from as far as Butterworth.
On this short video clip shared by a user, firemen are seen trying to put out the fire that started from the ship.
Two person was injured and suffered second-degree burns. Here’s a photo of a man seen pushed out partially burnt from the sea vessel.
The men were sent immediately to the hospital for medical attention. The firemen were still trying to calm down the fire and rescue more survivors from the ship.
