Royale Chulan Penang is back!

Royale Chulan Penang is back!

Royale Chulan Penang is ready to open its doors to fully vaccinated guests starting from 1st November 2021. After a brief term as a quarantine centre for low-risk patients, the hotel is now preparing to welcome both leisure and business travellers to enjoy the hotel and its facilities.

Royale Chulan Penang has constantly emphasized the importance of having a safe and clean environment, as such, the hotel has implemented a multi-pronged approach to ensure guests feel safe and comfortable. The measures taken include:

  1. Updated training program for all hotel associates on new cleaning and guest interaction protocols.
  2. Frequent and thorough cleaning and disinfection of rooms between guest departures and arrivals.
  3. Regular sanitizing of all touch surface areas and public areas.
  4. Hand Sanitizer dispensers placed at all designated areas such as Front Desk, F&B Outlets etc.
  5. Mandatory temperature check for all guests and staff.
  6. Social Distancing measures at all high traffic area such as inside the lifts, front desk, dining areas, hotel entrance, staff entrance etc.

All staff are also fully vaccinated and are required to wash or sanitize their hands as frequently as possible. Operation staff are also required to wear gloves and masks at all times.

In addition, the hotel is also collaborating with ecoCare – Pest Paramedics & Biofresh Hygiene Services for a major sanitising project that will cover all public and staff areas on 29th October 2021. The hotel is already sanitised daily by the housekeeping staff but this will give an added layer of security and will give confidence for future guests to stay again at Royale Chulan Penang. The Resident Manager as well as the management team of Royale Chulan Penang together with the Director of Operations, Managing Director and General Manager of ecoCare will also be on hand to oversee the project which will take an estimated 5 hours to complete.

For the reopening, Royale Chulan Penang is currently offering rates starting from RM140nett per night and booking have started flowing in steadily. The hotel is also bringing back its crowd favourite buffet – the Ho Liao Buffet Dinner every Friday and Saturday starting from 5th November 2021. A new weekday lunch promo, Let’s Go Lunch, will also be available at the Sri Tanjung Café for dine-in starting from 1st November 2021.

With these enhanced measures and new promotions, we hope that this will provide both staff and guests with a sense of ease during this difficult time and we are certainly looking forward to continue welcoming valued guests to the hotel again.
