Iconic Hotel clinches Best Business Hotel title

Iconic Hotel Penang has bagged the Best Business Hotel award at the Leading Hospitality Awards 2024 after a month of enthusiastic voting.

The 195-room hotel, located in the heart of Icon City Bukit Mertajam, impressed judges with its modern amenities, well-equipped meeting rooms and dedicated business centre.

The win marks the hotel’s 12th accolade in eight years, adding to previous recognition from Ctrip, Mei Tuan, Travelmyth, TripAdvisor, Agoda.com, Booking.com, Expedia and Hotels.com.

The stylishly designed rooms come in three unique themes – Modern, Urban and Contemporary. Each room features a 40-inch LED TV, workspace with high-speed internet, safe deposit box, minibar, bathroom scale, tea making facilities and coffee machine with Segafredo capsules.

For meetings and events, the hotel offers five function rooms that can hold up to 400 guests, a conference room, business centre and VIP dining room.

Guests can unwind at the swimming pool, 24-hour gym and sauna. The hotel also provides electric vehicle charging facilities to support sustainable travel needs.

Food lovers can choose between two dining outlets – Mezza 9, an all-day dining restaurant offering buffets and ala carte menus, and Crumbles & Cream café serving pastries, coffee, ice cream and desserts.

The hotel is easily accessible, being just five minutes from Juru Toll Plaza and 10 minutes from Penang Bridge.

Iconic Hotel is owned and managed by Iconic Worldwide, which is expanding its presence as a significant property player in Malaysia’s Northern Region.
