Amari SPICE Penang has been crowned “Best Business Hotel” at the Tourism Industry Awards 2025. The Malaysia International Tourism Development Association presented the prestigious award at a ceremony held at Sunway Resort Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.
General Manager Noorazzudin Omar collected the award on behalf of the hotel. The ceremony brought together hospitality industry leaders, government agencies, and tourism stakeholders to recognise excellence across 90 competitive categories.
The recognition celebrates the hotel’s exceptional hospitality standards, service quality, and business experiences for guests.

Amari Johor Bahru also secured recognition at the same event, winning Best Contemporary Hotel. General Manager Pauline Chua received the award alongside her team.
